The 3:30 session is special. It is not too busy; a great mix of kids and adults, and I like the daylight time. I met Mrs. Hill around this time last year at the 3:30 session. Mrs. Hill has a background in gymnastics, and enjoys running. She, her husband and two children, Avery and Conner, and live in Rochester Hills. The active family enjoys skiing and camping. Avery and Conner play soccer, and probably other sports.
Most of us who know Mrs. Hill are impressed with her hand-stand walking, handstand push-ups and pull-up prowess. Her running and lifting are exemplary too. I do not know her times of any benchmarks, but I am certain Mrs. Hill is progressing in a great direction! Mrs. Hill seems to have great focus and determination to do her best. It has been fun working out next to her, most recently while we were box-jumping.
Despite Mrs. Hill’s amazing abilities, (in which I am especially in awe of) there is more to Mrs. Hill that I think many of us appreciate. Mrs. Hill is enthusiastic, cheerful, and supportive. After a grueling day at work, it can be especially helpful to talk to someone like Mrs. Hill, and to begin to prepare/fear for the workout. Despite where we are on Chris’ workout chain/ladder, we are all working out to improve our well-being and do the best that we can as well as supporting each other. That is why it is especially great to have Mrs. Hill part of our CrossFit family. Her contagious spirit and incredible athletic talent motivate us to keep on. Congratulations, Mrs. Hill! Here’s to many more years!

It’s hard to believe you have been at the gym for one year. I don’t really remember when you started, you fit in so well it’s like you have always been there.
I’m sure Chris never really dreamed of soccer girls taking over The Champions Club, but we are! I know all the hard work you are doing here is paying off on the turf! Keep working on those jump ropes and handstands, I’m sure as soon as you master those Chris will find something else to yell at you about.
You have been working really hard at CrossFit and I love how you always push me on the runs. I am looking forward to working out with you this summer. Let’s earn that t-shirt and have our names in the rafters in a few years!
