CrossFit Athletic Group

This has been a rough two weeks. Last week, we saw Jesse, Jay, Morrow, Alan, Cara, and Murley split. This week, two more Champions Club favorites are off to college.

Marianne Carney came to us in December as a friend of Meghan Versele. We tried to give her the hint that she wasn't welcome, but she kept coming back and has appeared to form some good friendships with many of the other girls - especially the 9 am'ers. She will be attending Michigan State this year and her tryout with the rowing team is scheduled for September 4. Stay posted.

Christina came to us during the fall of 2010. Funny story: her first workout was "Cindy" for like 5 minutes or something - nothing too serious. She comes back the next day with her right arm completely swelled up to the point where she could not extend it much past 90 degrees.

Luckily for everyone, Christina didn't let that stop her from coming back and she was also responsible for recruiting many new members who are still with us today. She won't be too far away though, as she will be attending University of Detroit Mercy. Right next to the 'Grove.
