Last Thursday Dylan Colussi played his last baseball game of the summer in Rochester and it featured a Champions Club cheering section.
I really, really miss being able to watch you guys compete and show off all the hard work you put in through CrossFit. I miss being able to watch you guys, not through the lens of a coach, but through the lens of a fan. When I watch Dylan do deadlifts, my eyes go through him like a typewriter looking for mistakes and lost positions. When I watched Dylan go 1-2 with an RBI and one scoreless inning pitched, I just watched from the perspective of someone who was just happy to see him rip a couple line drives while I yelled at the other team's kid when he caught it.
"What the hell! Open your eyes son!" I said to a 13 year-old I never met before.
Anyway, I was looking forward to the same with Jessica, Dillon, Anto, and crew doing their thing on the field or track this spring: yelling "Dillon Sharp is gonna steal your puppy!" to some random defender from a school I've never heard of brings me a certain kind of satisfaction that yelling at someone to fix their knees in a squat doesn't.
If any of you guys have games coming up soon please let us know! We'll get a Champions Club cheering section there and we'll only embarrass you a little bit.

Or "Steal it from her Mallory!!! That's your damn ball!!" at a church sponsored basketball program game for 9 year olds? I can see where you'd miss that!
Amen! I miss the “busy” life!
Stop misquoting me Mrs. Tara! I believe it was "Take the damn ball from her Mallory!"
It was so awesome to see everyone come out to cheer on Dylan (and harass me). He was so pumped up about it. This is such an awesome community. Thank you!
