Beast Mode: Conamora

At our mobility session this morning we had a group of 6 or so make up some of yesterday's running/deadlift/pull-up triplet. Conamora was one of them, and after a round at 155, she started jumping up in weight on her second round.

175 for a rep.

195 for a rep.

225 for three reps.

It was at this point we ditched the workout format and decided to test out where she was at compared to her 7th grade pr of 265.

She comically got 265 on her next set, and then I figured it was time to dust out the old camera for a Beast Mode post. Here are the sets that followed:

That final one was at 325 lbs. Three hundred and twenty five pounds, which is about one refrigerator, one grand piano, or one washing machine...

...and which is also a Champions Club high school girls record!

Yeah. Conclusion.

OMG! Good Job Conamora! I remember her pr of 265. I was her partner and we kept going up and up and she kept telling me it was too easy. So of course I had to act like I wasn’t struggling to keep up with the 7th grader. Finally I had to tap out and give up. So proud of you Conamora!
