As Alyssa Jabara was entering her sophomore season on Concordia's softball team, she was well prepared with both her workouts and nutrition. Two of the catchers she was competing with in the off-season quit the team, which left her rotating in and out of the starting spot behind the plate. Her hard work paid off as recently she was named to the all-WHAC Champions of Character conference team - a spot nominated by coaches that takes in combined efforts of grades, attitude, and play.

Right as Alyssa was helping her Concordia team make the NAIA national tournament, unfortunately she broke her thumb while playing in the outfield, and is out for the rest of the season. The good news is she'll be back at the Champions Club soon and ready to get in another good off-season of work.
