Pic of the Week: Lamphere's Opening Game
Chris Sinagoga | Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 8:44AM In this edition of we miss sports, a certain Dream Team member boosted his teacher's pet status and got me a ticket for Lamphere's home game last night against Warren Lincoln, and the Champions Club was well represented. Nick Krstich is the starting quarterback, Drew Webster is the starting linebacker and fullback, and Jake Malak is the starting free safety and also the kicker.
Lamphere won 25-0 with help of a pair of TD passes from Nick, and some nice tackles from Drew and Jake. I got there at halftime and after the game a group of us managed to catch one for the site.
Not pictured: Jake and Mr. MalakThe way high school is working this time around is there are 6 games, all within the league, and everyone makes the playoffs, kinda like basketball. Stay posted for more updates. As a bonus, here's Nick's first TD pass of the season:
