Shameless Plug for Lumetta Produce Down the Street

Chris Sinagoga | Monday, April 11, 2022 at 1:07PM The reason you all know Hannah "HD" Dutz is because during lockdown I started going to Lumetta, which is the building right before our 800m turnaround. Her mom is the manager there and my sister, who also gets her produce from there, mentioned our gym. One thing led to another and the Monkey Exhibit got their Head Momma Chimp.
Anyway, a lot of you weren't around last time I plugged them, so I figured it would be a good time to do it again. I don't get any kickback in any way, I just think they have good quality food and you schmucks need all the convenience you can get when it comes to good quality food.
Go to their site, put the stuff in the cart you want, and either pay on the spot or pay when you pick it up the next day.
Upsides:
- Produce prices usually cheaper than grocery store (some dairy stuff is cheaper too)
- The manager knows us
- Supports local business
- Personally, I think fruit and veggies from here taste better than grocery store
Downsides:
- Order in advance for the next day, not same day
- Don't get to see the food until you pick it up
Aside from myself, I know Mama V and Bewick use Lumetta, and possibly Erica too. Try it out for yourself!
