No Context Observations

Providing context might be the most important role for coaches during this time.

For parents, the nutrition problem is roughly 80% about food and 20% about parenting.

I feel awkward talking about parenting considering I don't have any kids, but I think I'm on to something most of the time.

The foundation of CrossFit - both methodology and education - is Gymnastics.

If there was a draft of players from The Family from the past 10 years, I'd trade all my future draft picks to make sure I get Sonny Wilson 1st overall.

Before you try and fix something about someone else, fix it for yourself first.

Be on the balls of your feet all the time.

Putting in work can sometimes be less about doing more and more about doing less.

There have been 7 people in the history of the Champions Club that have actually done our program all the way in: Emma Wonsil, Jason Withorn, Mr. Malak, Mrs. Tara, Bubs, Mr. Curtis, Mr. Ron.

Trying to change the group as a whole is lazy; going person-by person is not.

Crashing the offensive glass is more effective that yelling "GET BACK!!" at stopping fast breaks.

CrossFit works the best when you are doing it for something else.

The time I used to put towards this site did not help my coaching as much as I thought.

I hate the "But I am doing that" category of responses.

If the coach is tripping, that's a sign you need to do better.

Critical thinking means applying something to something else (usually yourself) and can be done with literally anything.

There is a bell-shapes curve of skilled conditioning that starts with high school sports (just run suicides) and ends with the CrossFit Games (heavy snatches, muscle-ups, triple unders, burpee bar muscle-ups, etc.)

Change of speed is at least just as important as overall speed.

GoFan is dumb. Let us pay cash at the gate you bougie-ass high schools!

The Lunch Money drill is more effective for the Babies than pull-ups.
