The Sleepy Sleepy Kuiperpillar: A Book for Naps

In the dead of winter a big fella feeling the blues lay on a bean bag that was even bigger and bluer than he was.

His name was Dug.

Dug was very sleepy when it was time for the workout to begin, so he took a nap instead.

But he was still sleepy.

On Tuesday he went to work, then took two naps.

But he was stiiiillllllllll sleepy.

On Wednesday he went to work and made dinner, then took three naps.

But he was ssstttttttiiiiiiiillllllllllllll sleepy.

On Thursday he went to work and made dinner and played football, then took four naps.

But he was ssssstttttttttttttttiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiillllllllllllllllllll sleepy.

On Friday he went to work and made dinner and played football and watched television, then took 5 naps.

That night, he had a butt rash from all the naps he took...

But he was still sleepy!

He didn't understand.

Then Saturday came, and it wasn't winter any more!

Even though Dug took fifteen naps in five days, he wasn't big and fat, and he didn't lose any of his progress; he was still a pillar of health and fitness. When it was time for the workout, he built himself some wood that stacked up real high, called a "box", then jumped on top of it for two straight minutes!

Then him and his friends complained about how hot it was ran to a park and worked out there too! After he pushed his last "up" he realized...

... he was a well-rested, stud-of-a-guy!

"And so are you," said Dug, "so take a freaking nap!"
