PSA from Shakes: White Elephant Gift Exchange
Chris Sinagoga | Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 9:00AM For the Christmas Eve workout, we will be doing a “White Elephant” gift exchange! This exchange will take place after the workout along with some hot chocolate, food, games, and a movie on the projector! This gift can be something re-gifted or new, but worth at least $15-20. Have the gift wrapped and unmarked.
We will be doing separate gift exchanges between the adults and the younger kids. The adult group is high school and up, and the younger group is middle school and lower.
How to play:
When the game starts, you will pick a number from a hat. The person with the #1 goes first. They will pick a gift and open it so everyone can see what it is. Person #2 is now up. They have the option of stealing #1’s gift or opening a new gift. If they choose to steal, person #1 must pick a new gift and their turn is over. Person #3 is now up and can steal or pick a new gift. This continues until everyone has a gift. A gift can be stolen three times and will “freeze” on the third turn in the new owner’s possession.
