Chris Sinagoga | Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 11:45AM This weekend Josh Howey was wraastling at Ford Field in the State Championship meet. And the youngster put on a show! Shakes and I met Mr. Carey down there yesterday to catch his first match against one of the top ranked wraastlers in the state. Josh pinned him in the second round! Shakes caught it on video.
He went on to win his next match at 4 pm 9-8, placing him in the state semifinals. He lost that one 8-0, which put him in the consolation bracket for 3rd and 4th place.
This morning Josh won his first match 12-8. And just an hour ago he lost 3-2. He ended up 4th in the State at his 112-lb. weight class.
