On Sunday we will have the Athlete of the Spring award published at 11 am, and then another installment of the Building a Champion series, which is basically an ongoing story of the Champions Club. That will go up at 6 pm and is called Transition Offense.

Mrs. Rettig sent me a nice picture the other day of the Ford girls at their soccer banquet:

I was just in the middle of thinking, "man, Mrs. Carey just loves these kinds of pictures and then usualy brings in banana bread as a sign of appreciation" when my phone began loading another picture. 2 minutes later when it finally came through...

I was outraged! Not only are they not smiling, but Makenna is literally pointing to air. Absolutely absurd!

Finally, we have some highlights from yesterday's workout at the 10 am session; I wanted to go lighter on snatches and work on balance, and I also wanted to keep the fatigue factor the workout called for. So Alejandro, Cecilia, Dillon, and Jessica did a short sprint before slowing down and getting to their snatches. Here's how the last two rounds looked.
