Double-A and Babies Session: An Ideal Blend

On Sunday I was walking by the Parents Standing Room Only section at the gym and Mrs. Nevarez said, "Chris I know that smile is because your vision is starting to work out."

Man, I hope so. This is what she was talking about.

What is this exactly? I have no idea. This was around 1 pm; the Duble-A session was supposed to be done 45 minutes ago, the Babies session was supposed to start about a half hour ago, I'm not sure where the Double-A kids begin and the Babies end, and that's exactly what I want.

Imagine your 9 year-old self is in that crowd: what's the very last thing you want to happen at the time this video is being taken? The answer is simple: an interruption from any person or persons. There are three main sources an intrruption can come from in this setting: 1) me, 2) parents, 3) kids crying. The solution to those is also simple: I stay the hell out of the way, the Parents Standing Room Only section, and the occasional, "Hey Johnny J! We're not doing that crying shit in here!"

When the student is ready, the teacher will show up, right Mrs. G? So until then, cleans and push-ups can wait. It may be difficult to see it from a weekday perspective with the timer running and the bars out, but there is nothing more important to the overall health of the Champions Club that the fringes of the Sunday farm system sessions.
