Athlete of the Week: Lauren Higgins

We could talk about Lauren's top total on sumo deadlift high pulls on Tuesday's workout, or her 3rd fastest girls time on Monday's Cindy/DT combo, or we could talk about how she hasn't missed a day yet this summer.

Or we could just show you her 1 rep max balance from Friday.

115 pounds. That was not a typo in the comments. 10 less than Jason, 20 less than Jay. I have always said that if Lauren had been as consistent as Emma from the first Summer until now, she'd be far and away the best female athlete in the Champions Club - excluding no one. Lauren has that Ryan Richard combination of strong and fast (only she is exponentially more flexible than her old-man counterpart). And now that she has been putting in consistent time, we are starting to see a picture of what the finished product could look like.

Keep up your great work Lauren. You are on pace to have a special Summer.
