Max Height Push-up

The workout for today on GymnasticsWOD was practice for 10 minutes to find you max height for jumping push-up. We've never done this before, so we tested it out with Bubs and Murley: our two lone rangers at the "Advanced Session." We started off performing the strict push-up we are normally used to. Then once their height became limited, we allowed them to use a kip. Here's what they looked like.

Do you think this movement should held to a strict push-up, or do you think we should allow kipping after awhile?

This looks fun. Start off strict then switch to a kip once you can't make it to the top.

This is cool; I've never really though you could measure height on a pushup. Definitely agree that you should start with strict, then change to kipping.
