Athlete of the Week: Chase

We're almost at the end of Summer 2020, and our Athlete of the Week this time around is also, probably, our gym's most imporved athlete overall: Chase Kuiper.
On Sunday the combo Chase and Madison put up the most consistent high-low score of the day on dumbbell snatches, burpees, and mountin climbers. Tuesday saw Chase work up to 125 lbs. on his last few sets, and his his knees and feet did not budge. Wednesday was power snatches and box jumps, where he stayed at 65 on the snatches but got to work up to a tall box with plates on the jumps. Thursday was Chase's best workout in my opinion; 8th graders in general have a difficult time controlling their body, especially 8th graders that are growing an inch every week, yet Chase worked his way from forward rolls to handstand rolls to finally a few steps of handstand walking by the end of the 20 minutes. And to cap things off this week, him and his pops finished tied for 1st place in yesterday's Shark Week Theme Workout.
Keep up the good work kiddo!

Well deserved especially considering that he does drills for an hour after the workouts are all done. Way to work hard!
It has been a lot of fun to see his growth throughout this summer. Congrats Chase...very well deserved!
Nice work Chase!
