Shark Week Theme Workout Recap

The original Shark Week workout in Summer 2010 was created on the spot when Brian the Trainer knocked the med ball out of my hands at the very start of the workout, claiming Max Aleshire and I had to do a 5-burpee penalty. We repeated that workout again in 2011 and 2013. For Summer 2014 we did two new Theme Workouts: Water Wars and Mario. That caused us to smush together the Shark Week and Hawaiian Theme Workouts into one, which we did at the Hill. We did the same thing all the way through last Summer.
This time around we took it back to the original format. Here's how it looked:
1 round of:
6:00 Shark Cluster Thrusters
6:00 Coral Reef Rocks
6:00 Hammerhead Swings
6:00 Injured Surfers (3-point burpees)
*one partner works while the other goes twice through the Shark Relay, rotate upon return.
Best total score at the end wins. 1 point was given for each rep, 5 points for Sharking someone, loss of 5 points when you get Sharked. This time the Sharking was done through a little trench between the garage doors and... well...
... it was pretty deadly.
I liked the format of not doing burpees as a penalty and just adding/subtracting points. I had originally planned for one-arm squat clean thrusters with the dumbbell, but after looking at a few reps from the group I decided that taking the clean out of the mix would be best. Hammerhead Swings were done with the same dumbbell we used for thrusters, and took us back to Summer 2010 when we didn't have kettlebells. Hollow rocks were hollow rocks. The Injured Surfers station exposed a lot of faults in our landing and weakness in unilateral loading mechanics that I want to address sometime.
We actually had a tie for 1st place overall. Madison and Tea finished wirth 395 and so did Mr. Kuiper and Chase. Mr. Kuiper later confessed that he finished his last med-ball run with 15 seconds left and refused to do any more 3-point burpees. Mediocraty at it's finest.

Anyone beat my 13 shark attack record??
Evan got the most... he had 7
No one did, but I did yell at all 7 of my shark attack victims in your honor. No man, woman, child, or teenage high school girl was safe from me preying on the weak and feeble.
We need to have a Theme Workout Leaderboard in the same way most gyms do a benchmark workout leaderboard. Most Shark Attacks would definitely be on there, along with least range of motion in Christmas sit-ups (Ricky)
Ricky reps should be part of any CF workout!
