Shoes Off FYI

Just a reminder guys that it really helps if you bring a change of shoes.
From January 2018, usually a yearly occurrence
For not looking like a typical gym, or even a typical CrossFit gym, I think the place stays pretty clean and tidy. My goal is for this to be like home in terms of cleanliness, meaning not too clean where you don't want to touch anything but not too dirty to be considered a mess, either.
The next part about shoes off at the door is safety, though. We haven't had one incident of someone slipping from a wet spot in the gym yet. I really want to keep it that way, and there's an extra emphasis on that post Summer 2018 with the addition of kids running in the gym and the basketball hoop installed for play.
The last part about shoes off only applies to the winter: salt. When our half of the parking lot gets salted I think it's important to not track that stuff in to keep the floor and mats from wearing down. Also, salt marks take extra time to scub off on any surface.
We have a shoe bucket if you want to leave a gym pair here (note, any in the bucket are fair game for people to use if they forget to bring some). If not, just maybe keep a pair in the trunk of your car or something. Either way, any time there's water on the ground it really helps to leave the wet shoes at the door.

This sounds very "get off my lawn"ish. It's OK, Chris. Casey watches squirrels and birds now. It all comes with age.

It's also a sign of old age to double click the Create Post button and post twice. The interweb is pretty tricky at your advanced age, isn't it Tara?
Haha. Coach, I'd be careful about calling her out. She mentioned something about the electrician coming over again.
