Beast Mode: Mini Mel and Katie Shakes

Around two months ago Mel made a deal with his boys: firstone to 10 strict pull-ups wins $100. First off, this kind of under the table bribery should be expected from a UNC slappy, as a proud Duke man would never stoop to such depths. But secondly, andmore importantly, earlier this week his 9 year-old, Aidan, won the bet! 10 in a row. Mel did not have the camera on him at the time, but managed to get a video of Aiden doing 6 on command.

In other news, Katie Shakes ran in the Bad Bunny 5k yesterday and set an al-time pr of 26:17. It was good for 9th place for females and beat her previous best my almost 3 minutes!

Aidan (note spelling, Chris) has no idea what he will spend the $100 on, he was just happy to best his older brothers. I had to make the prize significant or I wouldn't have been able to draw in the 16 yo. I told the rest of them I would keep the deal going - if either of them get 10 in a row, they can win the prize as well.
