A few Sundays ago after the team workout, Shakes organized a lunch somewhere in Ferndale. It's cool to see a mix of high school, college kids, and... I still call Shakes and Fry kids.
Next up is rookies Dillon Sharp and Paris Rettig at their Utica Ford powderpuff game. They helped lead the juniors to a 6-6 tie against the seniors, and somehow both got MVP awards. This should give you an idea about how serious the game of powderpuff is.
And finally the 4:30 session was lucky enough to be rid of Erica Krueger during most of last week. Mrs. Bennis finally stopped complaining about having to work out with her. But as it turns out, Krueger was getting in her own workout:
I am told this is a King Salmon and weighs about as much as Evan Pugh's left bicep. She caught this, and like 9 others poor unsuspecting fish, in the Manistee River (is that still in Michigan?) and is planning on feeding the Champions Club sometime this month.
