









The young girls in the gym probably have no idea how lucky they are to be working out alongside our moms. All of them can, and should, provide an inspiration to Sammy B, Madison, Lulu, Loretta and crew. But the more I was thinking about it, the more I was wondering how close our moms are to the young girls in terms of fitness. And actually... are they even behind at all? So in the spirit of a spontaneous idea, here's the scenario I thought up:

Run 1 mile
100 pull-ups
200 push-ups
300 squats
Run 1 mile

Run 400 meters
30 wall-ball shots, 14-lb. ball
30 box jumps, 20-in. box
Elizabeth - modified
21-15-9 reps for time of:
95-lb. clean
Burpee
If all six were to compete in each workout over the course of 3 days, do you think the moms or the kids would average out a better score?
