Chris Sinagoga | Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 10:00AM Over the weekend, Shannon Marchant ran in the Horizon League Championships held at Youngstown State University. After having a very successful indoor and outdoor season in the 400 meter dash, her coach decided to have her run the open 800 meter run instead (for track people reasons). Shannon finished the 800 in second place overall. Later on in the meet, Shannon also ran in a 4x400 meter relay - where her team took 1st place, but did not pr. While it may not have been quite the finishes she was hoping for, this still marked Shannon's first full season as a collegiate runner. Not she has solid goals for next year.
In other news, EP won her individual tennis match yesterday and her team won overall. She is now playing again today at Lamphere High School to get closer to the League Championship. Stay posted for the details.
