Last night Zander Munk finished his 5th and final Fundamentals session in the rain. We did a workout of 3 rounds, 200m run, and 12 dumbbell cleans.
Zander has one of those wirey frames we've seen from the Jay/JZ/Dylan Hofmann types that show a lot of strength even though they don't look the part. This is usually good for long-term growth and development, and so is the attitude and work ethic Zander has shown. He's seen how his brother, Owen, has improved from his time training and he seems to be all aboard for the same thing. He came in ahead of the game with squats and deadlifts thanks to some time spent training with Jacob at Foley, so that helped us during these sessions. The skill-based stuff like kipping and kb swings and cleans are still choppy. Surprisingly, the running caught on quickly and - unfortunately for him - I think he has the potential to be a legit track athlete. Either way, welcome to the Champions Club Zander!
