I often overlook people like Jay and Shakes and Mrs. Carey and some of the other veterans for website features because... well... if I didn't there'd be three Beast Modes a week for 10 years. (Not that there's anything wrong with that).
Yet there are times when even this cold soul can't be a hater. Jay was on fire today with his lifts. After doing some hang snatch sets of 5 with 135-lbs. with a 5-second pause on the bottom, he did 155 for 3 reps, then topped out at 165 for 1. Here's that set.
Longevity is something that I really value in most things, and especially in the CrossFit spectrum; Jay Junkin is about as steady as it gets.
