Harry Potter Theme Workout 2022 Recap

Yesterday our 13th(!) annual Harry Potter Theme Workout went down, this time with a live for real Boy Who Lived:

Erica made a surprise appearance, her first since having baby Clyde. She was part of a 27-person 4:30 session, and our 5:30 session totaled 11; if you include me and Mr. Gjon in the morning, that brings us to 40 people in total to send off Summer 2022. We changed some of the exercises this year, adding pull-ups and a 400-m run in the second and third station (the run was scored based on how many seconds before 2:00 you finished) and also switched the order so sit-ups and hollow rocks were back to back at the end.

After tallying everything up and taking an average, Hufflepuff won the House Cup! Also, somehow Chase ended up in Ravenclaw. Dillon Sharp agreed that was not accurate. Kid's a Slytherin.

The full results can be seen here.

Photo gallery can be seen here.

Highlights from the 4:30 session:

Big ups to Shakes for the drawing, the fooding, and the music box; big ups to Aaron and Bubs for doing a test-run last week; big ups to Mr. Gjon for thinking there was a 10 am session; big ups to the Colussi, Van, and Carey families for coordinating the fooding... and, yeah. That's it. Definitely nothing else noteworthy happened.

Are you sure?

Dean? What are you doing here?

Nearly-Headless Nick sent me.

It's actually Sir Nicholas de Mimsy Porpington, or something like that. I don't think he likes being called...

I'm the freaking ghost of the Champions Club house, I can call him whatever I want.

Fair enough. Must I tell the people?

You must!

Fine.

I don't think there was ever a question - I'm a Slytherin to the core. Always in a good way. I have about 40 more of these labels if anyone wants a souvenir.
