I'd like to quote myself from last year:
32 people in total were at the Disney Doozy this morning - which is actually the second-most out of our 13 years running it. Things took a minute to get rolling, but once we started I actually think this is about as "fair" and organized as I can remember a workout going...
Ah those calm, serene days of 32 people at a Theme Workout. In an attempt to keep the numbers in the mid-30's, we waited an extra week until 4th of July weekend to open up the Summer 2023 Theme Workouts with our classic Disney Doozy. So, of course, we set an all-time Theme Workout record (and weekend record, breaking the mark from two weeks ago) with 46 people in attendance participating.
The set-up did not go smooth at all; the first station (Hakuna Matata Tabata Squats) started 50 minutes into the session. A few reminders to myself, as these posts mostly are: adjustable weight on Bambi's Bumper Thumpers is a must; consult Mr. Mark about layout and flow of stations; assign group to stations at the start myself instead of letting them pick, even if it takes longer; keep the "competitive" group and "check-the-box" groups like this time. But maaaaaaannnnn... if this is the tradeoff for a crowd like this on Theme Workouts, I'll gladly accept.
Jessica and Cecilia claimed another Disney Doozy victory for a second year in a row, and you'll notice I used the phrase "claimed" in the same way Nebraska "claimed" the 1997 National Championship; there are way too many variables and way too little policing to be able to outright declare anyone a winner. But claim away! I personally enjoy having enough gray area in these workouts to encourage some bickering and cheating accusations.

The one thing that is not up for debate or bickering is the Champions Club, as a whole, is off to it's best start in our 14 Summers doing this thing. I've always said the Disney Doozy is my personal favorite Theme Workout of the year (and maybe a little ahead of Christmas), and I appreciate you guys so much for coming out this way on a random Saturday in July and making this place live. In fact, I figured the turnout was so good today you all earned a little sneak peek into our next Theme Workout...
