Thanksgiving Workout 2020 Recap

Our first Holiday Workout with an invite list went well. Everyone showed up who was supposed to, the weather was nice enough where the open garage doors didn't make it too cold, and the workouts went smooth. 56 people in total competed in a slightly-revamped version of the workout, with 7 minutes each exercise instead of 6, and each session competing against the other as a whole.
The 8:30 session got off to a hot start with Noah and Owen leading the group from the front, and Mrs. Bennis and Woorden performing way higher than their draft stock. Things started to fizzle out, though, when the hollow rocks rolled around.
The 9:30 session had a couple questionable counters in their crew, but the gap was wide enough where I'm not sure it would've mattered; they beat the 8:30 session by a score of 6,558 - 6,001. I originally had Madison, Makenna, and Alyssa in this group, but when they told me they were out of town we brought in 3 Banets off the bench. Elizabeth and Dillon had the top overall score of the day, and teams of Erika/Erica and Jennifer/Jessica also put in scores of 500+.
I like the concept of sessions competing against each other, so you can expect something similar for the Christmas Eve workout. I'll probably tweak things up a bit there to see if we can make it as fair as possible across the board. The first thing that comes to mind is assigning weights to go with the teams. But we'll also have to take into account the fooding/gift exchange that has gone with it in the past. Thanksgiving proved as a good testing grounds.
