While Joe is in front, his back leg is staying on the ground too long. Notice how Jacob's knee is still bent as his foot is coming off the ground; Joe would go even faster if he had that going for him.

AMRAP:
4 Floor Press, 1.5p Kettlebell
6 Turkish Get-ups (half-way), 1p Kettlebell
8 Russian swings, 2p Kettlebell
14 rounds + 4 hTGUs.
The half-TGUs were surprisingly tough. It is a made-up movement - basically just the sit-up portion of the TGU - seeing as I cannot do a full one yet. While I can safely put weight on my forearm (which then transfers through my shoulder) it did not feel like something I could/should do dynamically in the context of a true TGU.
Mel, was your bad arm the one planting or holding the kettlebell?
Neither. I'm not at full arm extension yet - just moved to 30 degrees today - so I can't bear any real weight on the arm, much less hold a kettlebell. I have played around with some very gentle wall push-ups and super-assisted ring dips (in the brace). But really just going through some ROM and remind my left tricep and pec what working out feels like.
I could likely plant onto the left (injured) arm, but I was concerned about doing this with any speed. So the injured arm was pretty much just hanging out - as it always does these days - and the movement looked more like a sit-up whilst holding a KB locked out in the non-injured arm. Sounded easy, but I couldn't do any more than 1 pood for reps. You use your plant arm more than you would think on TGU.
