Ran 4.86 miles with my middle son, Colin (14 yo). Huge mistake. He's been running with the high school x-country team this summer and has really improved. He opened up with something like a 6:30 pace for the first mile and I had to beg him to stop so I wouldn't die. Spent the rest of the ~4 miles just trying not to die, while he was coasting.
