Matt Fecht had the top time of the day- finishing his workout off with a blistering 5:42 second mile. Not bad after 300 squats.

Dang you guys crushed this.

Today I did Main Site 150804

Burpee + 185-lb. back-squat ladder
Rest 3 minutes
Burpee + 115-lb. shoulder-press ladder -- scaled to 95#
Rest 3 minutes
Burpee + 245-lb. deadlift ladder -- 1-arm DLs

BBS: 9 rounds (+10 +6)
BSP: 6 rounds (+7 +4)
BDL: 7 rounds (+8 +3)

SP was stamina - pressing strength is not what it used to be. BS and DL was just gassed - burpees sucked it out of me.

Matt, holy crap! That's incredible!

Yo Mel, how exactly did that one work? Is it supposed to be 1 burpee + 1 squat / 2 burpees + 2 squats / etc?

I'm writing this 14 hours after finishing, still sweating... I broke it up 20 rounds of Cindy (5-10-15). Really glad Chris gave us the option to do the full, great gauge of where you're at fit wise. I now know that I'm about 1/2 as fit as Matt (which I view as an accomplishment!). Nice work everyone but especially Matt and Erika, sick times!

Chris - yes, 1 burpee + 1 squat, 2 burpees + 2 squats, etc.

This is one of those where you start hoping that you don't finish the reps in the minute...b/c if you finish, you have to continue.

Not nearly as bad as the one on 140625: http://www.crossfit.com/mt-archive2/009257.html. That one is a little dangerous, IMO. Plus, Spencer Hendel on the comments board, said, "That hurt my soul!"

Great job to everyone!! I broke up the reps mainly 10-20-30 for less transition time. toward the middle i tried to switch to 5-10-15 but I felt nauseous with the quick transitioning so I went back to 10-20-30. Note to self(and others): Do not eat a leftover mozzarella stick an hour before a workout...especially Murph.

That's bad news Mel. I was hoping you were gonna say one burpee between each rep. That would have been much less painful. And I think we ended up combining 140625 with a different workout.

Megan, good life lessons.

I did 5 rounds of 10, 20, 30, then half way through, I switched to 5, 10, 15. I think it slowed me down a lot, but the push-ups were getting a little unbearable, so I thought it was reasonable to let up a little. That was still the best Murph I can remember doing since I did my very first Murph. Not a PR, but it still felt pretty good.

I broke up the rounds by starting with 5-10-15 but I moved to 10pull-10push-15squat-10push-15squat because I was feeling strong on the pull ups. After 15 rounds, I did 15 pull ups and then associated push ups and squats. The push ups killed me - could not imagine going from the toes at this time. Big thanks to Matt for running the last mile with me!!!
