Workout of the Day - Friday, November 30

Warmup

WOD

10 rounds, every 2 minutes perform:

30 seconds of jump rope

3 hang power cleans

Post weight to comments.

Dylan was working hard to get his elbows up on cleans tonight. 3 rep max hang power cleanis kind of difficult to perform as a group because, as Jay put it, "you just kinda hit a wall pretty quick." It's limited by grip and your jumping. So we went heavy (thought not quite max) and added in a bit of fatigue to challenge the movement pattern. This has probably been the best overall week of form I can remember.

Coach T showed me the method for changing direction in non-competition/sport-specific settings where the athletes does a slow squat to work on deceleration mechanics. Alyssa did a great job of that today.
