Workout of the Day - Sunday, March 1

Warmup

 

WOD

Complete as many rounds as possible in 20 minutes of:

200-meter run

*split into teams of two, one partner does the run while the other does slow toes to bar/slow back extensions

JR came to us last winter from the Warren Basketball Camp and stayed with us through the Summer (if I recall correctly) before taking some time off. He's been back the last month and some change and he had his best session by far today! Also Michael Banet's face is pretty funny!

800-meter run

*split into teams of two, one partner does the run while the other holds a 2:00 plank then practices handstand descents for the remainder of the time

L-sit

Legless rope climb

Running was planned for today but it was really icy so we made use of the sled as well as the bikes. Turned out pretty well.

5 turkish get-ups right hand

5 turkish get-ups left hand

*split into teams of two, one partner does the tgu while the other practices double or triple unders

I have no idea why these are called IceCream Makers but Jay and Aaron were practicing them during the warmup. Basically rotate from the top of a pull-up to a front lever and back.
