We did a million different variations and subs for strict pull-ups today. Mr Z started with strict, then went to jumping strict, then a tiny kip.

Mr. Z stopped by today and by some miracle I managed to catch him on a frame of running that his heel wasn't slamming into the ground.

Our 5:30 session had a great workout, and oddly enough the dads all pushed themselves as hard as I've ever seen them... and all finished at exactly the same time.

Complete as many rounds as possible in 12 minutes of:

155-lb. squat snatch, 1 rep

155-lb. clean and jerks, 3 reps

30 double-unders

Warmup

3 rounds

Squat

Hollow rock

Kb swing

Jump rope

Burpee

 

WOD

Complete as many rounds as possible in 8 minutes of:

4 thrusters (partner 1 does two then other partner does two)

16 over-unders (partner 1 does eight then other partner does 8)

8 burpees (synchronized/no push-up)

 

Then rest 4 minutes, and repeat.

 

Record highest score to comments.
