We put a lot of emphasis on the plank position today and they were rough! Mr. Bennis and the 6:30 session worked hard to keep their butts squeezed and belly sucked in.

*split into teams of two, one partner works on deadlifts while the other holds a handstand for 4 breaths

Javier, Evan, Jay, and Mrs. Carey are all very strict about getting good a good warmup in without being told.

It is about the furthest we can possibly get from a Champions Club Summer, but we had Summer numbers today. 54 people over the course of 4 sessions. Our 6:30 session was probably the best as far as technique goes.

There have been studies and such that have linked getting up without hands to longevity. Studies or not, common sense would tell you the less help you need getting off the ground, the more likely you are so survive a trip and fall. We tried to do the candlesticks without hands at the 6:30 session so our parents can keep staying ahead of the game.
