4 burpee broad jumps

10 kettlebell swings

10 goblet squats

*split into teams of two, one partner works at a time with burpee broad jumps, then with both kettbell movements

Dita has been the standout of the Double-A session so far this Summer, and that is saying something because the group keeps growing with more kids.

I think I feel comfortable going on the record now saying that Mr. Van has good squat form. He was able to keep everything stable even on the last few sets of Tabata.

3 dumbbell snatch (each arm)

6 dumbbell (goblet) squats

9 box jumps

*increase to 4 or 5 rounds if needed

3 4-minute rounds of:

3 dumbbell snatch (each arm)

6 dumbbell (goblet) squats

9 box jumps

Rest 2 minutes between rounds

 

*if you only have light dumbbells/short stairs/jumping surface, add reps to each exercise and go for 5 minutes each round

**if all you have is bodyweight, then use the 5-minute format with any 3 movements you can cycle through decently fast. Squat jumps should be one of them.

Workout of the Day - Thursday, November 28

Thanksgiving 8.0

Split into Teams of three (instead of 2). The stations are Turkish Get-up, Exercise, and Rest with one person at each station at all times. Athletes rotate once one Turkish Get-up each arm is performed. This cycle goes on for 7 minutes (instead of the usual 6).

Post total reps of:

Goblet squat

Plymouth Hollow Rocks

Burpees
