Mr. Auggie was on fire today at the 5:30 session. We required full squats on the clean as usual; his mobility limited that, as well as a few other people like Mr. Wonsil, but the intensity and focus was excellent from Augdawg today.

Set a clock for 12 minutes and, with a 135-lb. barbell, complete:
1 minute of squat cleans
1 minute of push jerks
2 minutes of squat cleans
2 minutes of push jerks
3 minutes of squat cleans
3 minutes of push jerks

 

Post total reps for each exercise to comments.

Shaka has taken a while to get the hang of unweighting, but today she made some good steps towards cleans looking a little more like cleans. Some people (her included) did push press instead of push jerks.

Khalil and Crawford were the only ones at the 7 pm session, se we used the opportunity to really fine-tune technique on clean from the ground. They both did it and looked pretty good, as well as on GHD sit-ups.

Steve rolled with GHD sit-ups for the first two cycles, but he started fatiguing pretty quickly so we moved back to tuck holds.
